說(shuō)說(shuō)“接軌”的翻譯

有如此一句話：隴海線在鄭州與京廣線接軌。不少人翻譯成The Lianyungang-Lanzhou Railway is contacted to the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway at Zhengzhou.，其實(shí)句子非常簡(jiǎn)單，重點(diǎn)是接軌二字，正確的使用方法應(yīng)該是be connected to而不是be contacted to。 接軌一詞現(xiàn)在在日常用得愈加多，其第一個(gè)意思是連接鐵路，可以翻譯為to link/connect the rails。比如The Qinghai-Tibet Railway was finally completed when rails were linked/connected at Lhasa on October 15, 2005.（2005年十月15日青藏鐵路在拉薩接軌，最后建成。）

接軌第二個(gè)意思是使宇航器在太空相互銜接，即對(duì)接，英語(yǔ)可以翻譯為to link up with, to dock with/on, to be docked with/on。比如The space shuttle has linked up/docked with the international space station,（這架航天飛機(jī)已經(jīng)與國(guó)際空間站接軌。）

它還有第三個(gè)意思即便兩種規(guī)范或辦法相互銜接，英語(yǔ)可翻譯為to link up with, to integrate, to be geared to, to switch over to。比如The expert talked about how to make our statistical1 system link up with the international standards.（這位專家談?wù)摰皆趺礃邮勾蠹业慕y(tǒng)計(jì)規(guī)范與國(guó)際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)接軌。）
