My Idea of a University Arts Festival

There is no doubt that the arts festivalenriches our college life an extracurricular activity. However, when it comesto what should be included in the arts festival, different people havedifferent views. Some insists on performing arts, such as dances and dramas. Stillothers argue for the work of art like paintings and calligraphy. Personally, Iagree with the latter and I strongly recommend that photographic works shouldbe counted as an important aspect of the arts festival.

 毫無(wú)疑問，藝術(shù)節(jié)豐富了我們大學(xué)生活中的課外活動(dòng)。然而，每當(dāng)說(shuō)起藝術(shù)節(jié)該包含什么節(jié)目，不同的人有不同的想法。有些人堅(jiān)持表演藝術(shù)，像舞蹈和話劇。有些人辯論說(shuō)應(yīng)該也有繪畫和書法的作品。個(gè)人來(lái)說(shuō)，我同意后者而且我強(qiáng)烈推薦攝影作為藝術(shù)節(jié)中重要的一部分。

  Mysuggestion lies in the following two reasons. On the one hand, for he studentswho take photos, the photographic exhibition can stimulate them to discover thebeauty that permeates our surroundings. As the saying goes, beautyis in the eye of the beholder; such an activity will definitelyfoster sharp eyes of photographers to-be. On the other hand, for the studentswho appreciate the photos, they are given a shortcut to the beauty of thenature and the society. Maybe by this way they find the sense of the life andenjoy the life more in the future.

 我的建議基于以下兩點(diǎn)。從一方面來(lái)說(shuō)，對(duì)于拍照的同學(xué)，攝影展示能夠激發(fā)他們?nèi)グl(fā)現(xiàn)我們身邊的美。常言道，美在觀察者的眼中；像這種活動(dòng)絕對(duì)能夠培養(yǎng)未來(lái)攝影者的銳利目光。從另一方面來(lái)說(shuō)，對(duì)于喜歡照片的同學(xué)來(lái)說(shuō)，他們就有了一條通向自然和社會(huì)的美景的捷徑了。也許通過這個(gè)方式，他們能夠找到生活的感覺，未來(lái)也會(huì)更加享受生活。

  Inshort, the photographic exhibition can get the students to discover andappreciate beauty. I believe that it is wise to involve the photographic worksinto the university arts festival.
