1. Pay attention to your personal appearance.
從拾掇自己的形象開(kāi)始。
Even if you work in a mechanic's garage or other job where cleanliness is hard to maintain, people still notice the way you look after yourself.
即使你的工作場(chǎng)所是機(jī)械師的車(chē)庫(kù)，或其他難以保持干凈整潔的地方，人們?nèi)匀粫?huì)留意你的外表。
2.Don't keep on just stocking your work, do it quality-wise and appropriately.
保質(zhì)保量地完成工作，「隨便應(yīng)付」要不得。
3. Be timely with your projects or work schedule.
做項(xiàng)目也好，日常工作安排也好，務(wù)必準(zhǔn)時(shí)。
If you are the person who always finishes a job ahead of schedule, your supervisors and customers (if applicable) will appreciate your efforts.
如果你總能提前完成自己的工作，你的上司和顧客(若可以)就會(huì)很欣賞你的努力。
4.Look for ways to improve the task you are doing.
即使目前工作狀態(tài)很好，也要努力找尋更好的工作方式。
Some employers have suggestion boxes, and some even offer bonuses for suggestions that make a task more efficient or profitable.
有些雇主會(huì)設(shè)置意見(jiàn)箱，甚至有些還會(huì)為提供意見(jiàn)的同事給予額外的獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)，這樣能使一項(xiàng)任務(wù)更高效，還能創(chuàng)造更多收益。
5. Be helpful to your fellow workers.
樂(lè)于幫助同事。
Lending a hand, helping out with good suggestions, or just listening to them when they need someone to sound off to will get their attention.
幫助他人，提供好的建議，或只是在他們需要向他人傾訴的時(shí)候聽(tīng)取他們的需求，這樣都能引起大家的注意。
6. Be early, so supervisors or department heads will see you standing out from the crowd.
凡事盡量趁早，領(lǐng)導(dǎo)其實(shí)都看在眼里。
These people often report early to set the day's agenda, and will notice you before the rest of the shift reports.
這些上級(jí)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)常常早早地設(shè)定今天的工作任務(wù)，所以他們就會(huì)在其余的工作報(bào)告中對(duì)你留下印象。
7.Stay late if it makes a difference in the success of a project you are working on.
如果事關(guān)重要，多留一會(huì)就多留一會(huì)吧。
當(dāng)然了，你要是為了多攢點(diǎn)加班費(fèi)而多留一會(huì)，那只能帶來(lái)負(fù)面效果。這個(gè)在這里就不多討論了。
8.Chip in when coworkers are raising money for charitable causes or for a fellow worker if you can afford to.
如果有慈善捐款，或者同事需要經(jīng)濟(jì)援助，可以的話就貢獻(xiàn)自己的一份力量吧。
Many workplaces take collections for the United Way, local charities, or employees who are having medical problems they need help paying for.
許多公司為一些諸如United Way，當(dāng)?shù)氐拇壬茩C(jī)構(gòu)，或一些身體有疾病的員工等需要經(jīng)濟(jì)援助的群體籌集資金。
9.Be respectful but speak to supervisors when you have an opportunity to do so.

This may happen at company functions, meetings, or even when you run into them out on the town.
